  • Help to realign your foot and restore proper foot function and stability.
  • Made from shock absorbing gel to help cushion and stop shocks damaging the metatarsal bones.
  • Reduce Foot pain and cramps. A common cause of foot pain is usually caused by wearing shoes that promote unnatural positioning of your feet and do not give the support you need.
  • Help to prevent ball of foot pain when wearing high heels. Wearing high heels can be especially bad for your feet, as the heel elevation puts your feet in a position it was never designed to be in and you metatarsals cannot support your weight effectively. The stress and damages caused by wearing footwear like this can cause lasting damage on the ligaments, joints and bones in the feet. These pads have been made to help give your metatarsals more support and realign them more naturally.
  • Restore and correct foot anatomy. It is because of this that many suffer from foot cramps and pain. Overtime continual lack of support and positioning the feet in unnatural positions brought on by wearing certain types of footwear can cause long-term damage to the feet structure.Wearing metatarsal pads puts less strain on the arches of your feet helping to reduce the risk of plantar fasciitis.
  • You receive two pads one for each foot.
  • One size fits all
  • It is recommended to place the pads correctly in order for the pads to work best and offer the right support where it is needed.

Metatarsal pads are designed to protect the metatarsal area of your foot by to better spread the arch of your foot, used to help prevent foot cramp, correct pronation, and toe extension of your foot whilst also helping to better position your forefoot in its natural and comfortable position which in effect helps to stabilize, support and protect the metatarsal bones. Placing your pads in the correct position is rather simple, the pads should rest behind the ball of your foot rather than underneath the ball of the foot.

By wearing metatarsal pads you are helping to combat the negative effects most shoes have on our feet. Most footwear do little to protect the feet from the stresses and strains of everyday life and ineffectively spread pressure and support the feet, this leads to tension and pressure build up in areas not designed to cope with this level of stress resulting in damage and pain. Overtime this can cause over extended and tapering of the toes as your foots anatomy gets forced into the shape and structure of your footwear. This causes your muscles under the foot to become stretched out and weakened, this can then lead on to foot problems such as plantar fasciitis or increase the risk of developing injuries such as Metatarasalgia , Morton’s neuroma, plantar fasciitis and sesamoiditis.

How to fit your pads

Locating exactly where your ball of the foot is and rests in your shoes is something you must do to get the best fit. You can do this through a number of ways. Something you can try is taking your insoles out of your shoes and seeing where  the ball of your foot lies through the indentation made on your insoles by your foot. (If your insoles do not have indentations you will need to see and mark where your ball of the foot rests.) and then place your pads behind where the ball of the foot rested.

Found these to be really lightweight when wearing them, comfy you hardly notice them plus they do just the job at protecting and supporting the metatarsals. I really needed them after developing metatarsalgia which is basically inflammation around the ball of the foot which wasn't nice at all to have. Since wearing them everyday in my shoes my metatarsalgia has all but gone now and I am so happy! For the price and quality I don't think you can get any better! Very good indeed!
